A Christian hunter, Baruti, trusts God and wins the battle with a leopard.
Description
A leopard is killing people in the villages that are near the African hospital. They wonder if the killings are a result of witchcraft. Baruti, the hunter, knows that leopards can be dangerous and deadly. But he knows sin is more dangerous, and it, too, can be deadly.
Baruti becomes a friend with young Tembo as he recovers at the hospital. Baruti shares the Good News of Jesus with Tembo.
As the leopard killings continue, fear increases. Baruti decides to use himself as a lure for the leopard. He trusts God to protect him. He does not fear death. Baruti tells Tembo, “It's a wonderful thing to know that even if you die, all is well...you enter a wider country” (better place in Heaven). The African stories help explain the way to follow Jesus. The book has 146 pages. Line drawings help show the action.
