Description
This story shows God's plan to save people from their sins. There are Bible verses on each page of the booklet. The colored pictures show a multicultural world.
The script is as follows: A long time ago, even before God made the earth, the sky, or anything, God, and His Son, Jesus, knew about me! (Genesis 1:1 and Psalms 24:1)
He knew I was special. There would never be another ME! From the top of my shiny hair to my little toes, and everything in between, I am very SPECIAL! (Psalms 139:14)
I'm so important that Jesus never forgets about me. It doesn't matter if I'm rich or poor, important, or just plain ME. He has my name written on the inside of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16)
When I'm alone and nobody seems to care, He does. (Hebrews 13:5)
Even when I'm in a BIG crowd, Jesus is close to me. (Isaiah 41:13)
He is there at night; Jesus is there when the stars come out. (Isaiah 26:3)
When the streetlights come on, He is there. (Psalms 4:8)
Jesus knows what makes me happy. He knows what makes me sad. We laugh and cry together. He cares for me so much. He gives me the things I need. (Mark 10:14)
Christmas is the happy day that we celebrate Jesus' birthday. (Luke 2:10,11)
My friend, Jesus, is so powerful! When He lived on earth, He made the storms be still. He even healed sick people. (Luke 1:37)
Jesus loves me so much. Many years ago, Jesus knew about every sin, or wrong doing I would ever do. He took my punishment, by dying for me. Three days after He died, His power brought Him back to life. Today He lives in Heaven, talking to God about ME! (1 Corinthians 15:4)
I can ask Jesus to take away my sins by asking Him to come into my life. I must believe that He is the true Son of God. I must also confess my sins to Him. (Romans 3:23 and 1 John 1:9)
He tells me about His love for me in the Bible. I can talk to Him by praying, anywhere, anytime, about ANYTHING! (1 Peter 5:7)
He will help me make right decisions. Jesus will help me be kind. (Ephesians 5:32)
Jesus wants me to share His love with my family and friends. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Jesus cares so much for me. Someday, if I have confessed my sins, He will take me to His beautiful home in Heaven when I die. But while I live here on earth, I can sing a happy song about Jesus. Song: Jesus Loves Me ( John 14:2,3)
The final page tells how to become a follower of Jesus.

- These booklets are available in the following translations:

Scriptures are quoted from the King James Version.
Limitations
- Some of the illustrations show only portions of people, which might disturb or confuse children in some cultures.
- Children unfamiliar with cities will not understand the mention of streetlights on page nine.
- Some of the illustrations of people are a bit like cartoons, and some children may have trouble relating to them and clothing styles.
