Considerations
- The book has thirty-two pages.
- Most of the pictures are clear and easy to understand.
- Each picture points to the coming appearance of God with man.
- Clothing is not typical of what was worn in Bible times. It is symbolic clothing without any details.
- The coloring book provides pictures of each story so children can color as the story is read. These are purchased separately for each child.
Limitations
- Page three picture about the fall shows only Eve's legs. This will be confusing in some cultures where the children are not picture literate.
- The people pictured are faceless which might be a problem with some language groups who are not picture literate.
- Clothing worn is symbolic of western clothing.
- In language groups where money is difficult to obtain try to get permission to copy a single color book for use with however many children attend the classes.
- Most pictures show the whole view of people but a few show portions of bodies. In some cultures these will need explanation.
- The binding is not very good on these booklets. When the pages are turned they come loose from the binding.
Guidelines for Use
- This coloring book should be useful in both school and Sunday School if crayons are available.
