Copyright Issues
From SPARK
Introduction
In this Information Age, we are aware of the issues of protection of information. When you log in you have permission to create and edit your own pages. When you have completed your document, it will then be available to SPARK editors or administrators to modify, adapt, or translate, etc.
Note: By adding your document to SPARK, you are giving permission for that document to be published under the Creative Commons license. This in no way removes your copyright privileges.
Creative Commons License
All documents on SPARK are protected by a Creative Commons 3.0 license unless otherwise stated. This means that anyone may copy and adapt anything on SPARK as long as they:
- give credit to its original creator or if no name is given, put "From www.vernacularmedia.org."
- do not sell it for profit, and
- put the same restrictions on your own resulting creation or copy.
For details on the Creative Commons license version 3.0, see [1]
If you desire to have your contribution fall under a different license you must so specify in your page. For instructions see [2].
If you want help regarding Creative Commons or copyrights, please contact the SPARK Manager.
